The hotel was located close to all the stores, restaurants, bars and even beautiful beaches, the gardens where there is a fire pit, more tables and chairs, and beautiful perennials, and all shops and restaurants.

Our stay was incredibly comfortable, and the hotel maintained a high standard of cleanliness. the staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, making our experience delightful. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast, featuring the best granola we've ever had. the beautiful bedroom added to our overall enjoyment. the location was fantastic, just a short distance from the Whaling Museum and various downtown shops and restaurants, making it a convenient choice for exploring the area.

This is a charming old hotel in a fantastic location, close to everything we wanted to explore. the breakfast served here features some of the best granola I've ever had! 🥣.

What an incredible stay at the Martin House! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and kindness by the manager, Carolyn. She went above and beyond to make sure all my needs were met and always had a smile on her face. The morning breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of fresh breads, pastries, fruit, yogurt, and cereal. And on Fridays, Carolyn even organized a wine and cheese get-together for all the guests! The location was perfect, right in the heart of downtown and within walking distance to everything. The room was immaculately clean and the bed was amazingly comfortable with fresh linens changed daily. The maids were always friendly and accommodating. And the Widow's walk provided breathtaking views of Nantucket and the ocean. I can't wait to visit the Martin House again!

Lower Your Expectations

The complimentary coffee and tea were decent, and the location was great for exploring the town on foot. It was also nice to have the option to use the shuttle for further destinations. The outdoor seating area was comfortable and had good furnishings.

The room was overpriced and lacked any special amenities or decor. The bed was uncomfortable and the room lacked proper soundproofing.
